Old CIty Sidewalk Sale & Stroll (May 16 & 16, 2010)
The OCBC held the 3rd Annual Old City Sidewalk Sale & Stroll on Saturday and Sunday, May 15 & 16. Over 50 businesses participated in the two-day event that took place on a beautiful and sunny May weekend.
The OCBC distributed complementary yellow balloons and tablecloths to all Sidewalk Sale participants to give the event a coordinated theme.
The Wild Bohemians, a local Mardi Gras Jazz band, set the festive mood of the event by strolling streets while playing their tunes.

- Featured event on NBC10's 10! Show on Wednesday, 5/12/10 that encouraged visitors to attend
- Numerous online media hits including:
- 4,000 postcards printed and distributed to area businesses as well as the Independence Visitor's Center and local hotels
- 100+ 11x17 posters distributed and displayed throughout Old City
- 2 complimentary balloons delivered to each participant on both Saturday and Sunday of the event (200 balloons in total)
- 1 complimentary table cloth delivered to each participant on Saturday of the event
- 3 hours of music provided by The Wild Bohemian's on both Saturday and Sunday of the event
- 50 participating businesses on Saturday and 44 participating business on Sunday
