Old City Light Festival (November 7 - December 31, 2008)

In late 2008, the OCBC executed Old City's first ever "Light Festival".  Old City shops, restaurants and retailers illuminated their windows in glowing lights, adding a bit of romance and warmth to the cooling days of winter.

The OCBC distributed over 500 complimentary light strands to approximately 100 businesses throughtout Old City.  To mark the start of the festival, a kick-off event was held on First Friday, November 7, 2008 at Old City Ironworks, complete with a lighting ceremony by Ben Franklin and a free party afterwards.
