Old City Windows 2011 Judge Panel

The OCBC will be announcing our panel of judges soon! We look forward to selecting another great panel this year, selecting people who are considered to be leaders in their field and have a sincere interest in Old City Windows.

Make sure that you do your part and sign up! Get your name out there and show your peers in the industry your work!

 Judging Process  + Criteria

4 independent judges give each window an individual score and focus on three main themes:

Content and Creativity, Visual Interest, Technical Skill of the designer

Judges will evaluate final concept drawings/sketches (submitted after the designer nears completion of window ) and window photos as part of the judging process.

Scores from each judge are then tallied to come up with a final score for each window.

The highest score will go to the 'Best in Design' category and then remaining scores will be tallied for the remaining sub-categories.

Juried by Public

Public's Favorite Window→Public voting takes place Oct 1st-Oct 23rd. The public is encouraged to vote for their favorite designer window by sending in text messages and online votes. The OCBC tallies all votes to announce the public's favorite.

The judges reserve the right to determine the number of entries that will be recognized with an award. Therefore, an honorable mention award may or may not be given.

Decisions of the Judges are final.

The OCBC reserves the right to disqualify an entry before, during or after the contest judging. In the case of disqualification after an awards ceremony, the entrant will be required to return the award and the OCBC may make a public announcement.
