Submission Guidelines for Optional Concept Sketch -For Registration-
What to Submit
We would love for entrants to submit a pre-liminary concept sketch or samples of your work to best pair entrants with windows. It's not necessary, but entrants who show us their mojo will be assigned the best suited windows for the exhibit/contest.
Submit Samples of Your Work - or- Concept Sketch
Theme →Choose either an Old City store window that you would like to design (we do not guaranteed a pairing with window) and create a preliminary concept sketch or create a theme window sketch. The theme window dimensions are 60Wx 70L. Budget for theme window materials is allocated for $100. Create a name for your theme window and use a designer's perspective to market the your theme store or boutique's merchandise.
Materials→Designs must clearly state or show materials ,dimensions, theme,
Resolution→The required resolution for the designs is 3750px x 5250px, with a DPI of 300.
Size→ Maximum drawing submission length is 2 pages 8.5 x 11.
Bio→ Include a short bio on a separate page with your background. Also, please include links to your work or website. We want to know who you are!
Upload→Upload design for submission. Submission is done totally online. Your entries will not be returned. Email us at oldcitybusinesscollective@gmail.com if upload is not working.
Note→A concept sketch is optional for registration. After registration, designer is required to collaborate with business owner and present them with a sketch based on a mutually agreed upon concept. Upon completion of window, a final concept drawing will be required to be submitted as part of the judging process. Entrants must also submit a photo of finished window.
